Druid Hills - Mid Century Modern
This mid-century modern house is located in Historic Druid Hills. We renovated this 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with the intent of adding 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, updating the communal living space and expanding it to the outside. The house, with its natural woods and exposed beams was a beautiful example of the character and style that is not often appreciated in a "Ranch" house of this era. We added a front bay, screen porch and patio and an addition that included 2 additional bedrooms, a bath and laundry room. The result is probably the only Orange kitchen to be designed since 1956.
This extensive renovation was completed in 2016 and has been featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and will be on the 20th Annual Junior League of Atlanta's Tour of Kitchens on Saturday March 25th.
